TestNet Phase 3 - On the Horizon

And a feature packed playable future is near

Progressive Release of Features

TestNet Phase 3 will differ from previous TestNet releases in that each new feature will be released to the test network as it is completed, rather than a suite of features being released only once all are completed.

Beginning in a few weeks, if you stop by the test network from time to time, you may find new features implemented. Since there will not be a big announcement made around each addition, the best way to discover new features is to follow our Twitter account, join our Discord and, of course, check out the test network for yourself.

There will be another Test-to-Earn event once the full suite of TestNet Phase 3 features are completed, when players can help to test the client and earn some rewards. Additionally, anyone who completed new features before the event will still be eligible for any associated rewards.

When will Test-to-Earn Phase 3 happen?!

There is no set date for the launch of the next Test-to-Earn event yet, but there will be an announcement approximately 2 weeks before this event begins. Additionally, there will be video guides for all of the new features available before the launch of the next Test-to-Earn event.

User Interface Revamp

• New UI for scanning and resource heatmaps

• New UI to support building

• New UI to support core sampling and mining

Scanning Asteroids

• Uncovering rarity and boosts

• Uncovering resource distribution heatmaps and density maps

Model Viewer

• View all resources and finished goods in full 3D

• View Buildings: Extractor & Warehouse

Asteroid Lot Interactions* 

• View information on ownership, usage, and infrastructure per lot

• View current active jobs

Building Infrastructure on Asteroids*

• Extractors

• Warehouses

Mining and Core Sampling Asteroids*

• Using core samples to locate resource deposits

• Setting up extractors to mine at particular rates and quantities

Surface Transport and Warehouse Storage*

• Move goods from extractors to warehouses

• Understand the flow of goods and the timing of actions

*These features will be limited to Adalia Prime during TestNet Phase 3.

TL/DR:

TestNet Phase 3 is in progress, and as each new feature is completed, it will be live within the test network. There will be a TON of exciting features in this next phase (review above), so put your spacesuits on and prepare for takeoff!

There is no date yet announced for the next Test-to-Earn event, but players will have at least two weeks’ notice before launch.
