Testnet Phase 3: Mission Accomplished
This is just the beginning...
Phase 3 was the first time anyone was able to take playable actions in-game and it was a massive success! We are absolutely thrilled and thankful for the community's participation in the event.
With about 6,000 participants we were able to battle-test the game client, push the Starknet testnet to the limits, and garner incredible feedback that has allowed us to push forward numerous changes to improve the game’s reliability, performance, and playability.
Some of the biggest updates include:
Complete core sampling UI overhaul
Upgraded resource heat-map and abundances for all asteroids
Massively enhanced performance when rendering asteroids
Improved action logs and notifications
What’s Next?
The team is now focused on finalizing the last updates provided by the community’s feedback and moving toward Phase 4, which will be the last test prior to launch. In Phase 4 there will be nearly every feature which is expected to be live within the game, from producing ships to building marketplaces. We are excited to be drawing nearer to the hugely anticipated release of Exploitation, Influence’s first full game launch.

Looking forward to the launch of Exploitation, content creators will be some of the most important members of our community in helping to educate and grow our community.
During Phase 3 we also tested our first content creator competition and had twenty creators submit their projects. After careful review the team has selected the top ten submissions to award prizes:

The chart below shows the “Steps Per Second” on the Starknet testnet. The green circles are the times when Influence had a testnet event. With your continued help, we believe that gaming will be a major catalyst for adoption.
